On tap at ’De Bierfabriek’. Very hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, nuts, straw and some honey. Sweetish-malty taste of caramel, nuts, straw and hints of honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter, bready finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. First sips were not that nice, but the musty notes disappeared after a while. Overall easily drinkable, okay.

Vollmundig malzig herber, angenehm süßer Antrunk. Würzig, was sich noch etwas steigert. Deutlich malzig, vollmundig bleibend. Zum Ende herber, dabei rund bleibend. Gut. 12/11/12/13//12

On tap @ the brewpub. Yeah, it is actually kinda red this. A big frothy lingering and lacing dense white head over a red amber cloudy body. Not much of a nose here really. Mild caramel sweet. Old autumn leafs. Not much more than that really. Slightly buttery in the taste also. Some yeast here, it feels light oily in the mouth and it's really comfortable on the prickling bubbles. Sweetish and not particularly fantastic tasting to be honest. Rose hips and needles. Nope, not something I feel and urge to finish or have again. 25.09.2014
