Keg at the brew by numbers. A translucent pale yellow straw coloured pour with a big frothy white head. Aroma is lemon rind, hint of soap, floral lavender, wheat. Flavour is composed of doughy grains, oats, tangy lemon, soapy, dry pithy lemon. Palate is light and frothy , drying finish. Solid.

Huge snowwhite head, lacey, over fully cloudy yellow beer with a faint green sheen. Floral & spicy nose, wheatlike aroma, fresh hops, bit soapy. Bitter flavour, hoppy, lupuline. Again wheat in the background; herbs, spices and citrus. Very light body, aptly, and very good carbonation; wheatslickness. Outstanding session ale - predictable? Many thanks to Mathieu and Louis!

Keg at the BBNo taproom. Pours murky pale gold with a creamy, pure white head. Dry wheat in the nose, some hay, grass, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with more grassy bitterness, dry sourdough and wheat bread, husky grain, faint citrus notes. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean and dry on the finish, with quenching grassy and rindy hops, low sweetness, more lemon peel, straw. Simple and really drinkable.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours cloudy yellow, large bubbly white head. Aroma is breezy light lemon citrus, floral. Taste is exceedingly light, but very refreshing. Floral with a mild bitterness. Not a lot going on here, a bit thin & watery, but it’s a good straightforward thirstquencher.

Draft glass @ Gollem. Very hazy citrus with a creamy big white head. Nose is big floral hop in De La Senne styel, green hop coupled with some sweetish white bread & surprisingly for De La Senne some pleasant yeast (bit sweet). Taste is easy mellow green De La Senne hop but not enough, touch to mellow with creamy yeast, nowhere near as dry as I am used from De La Senne, white bread, bit neutral, easy pleasant, tad yeasty beer. Overall a nice & pleasant, touch to neutral even if it carries nice qualities. As a De La Senne fan boy, I must admit that I this point I start wondering if they are not churning out new beers a tad too fast, this is far from bad but it feel like it could have been & should been more especially coming from De La Senne in my opinion. Not bad for the ABV.

Draft @ ML Fontainas.
