Can from Hoptimism Website Loughborough, Leicestershire, and consumed at home Friday 23rd October 2020 whilst cooking a Old Delhi Style Butter Chicken Curry and a Maharashtrian amti dahl * it's Friday, it's curry night, listening to Tom Ravenscroft on 6Music standing in for Steve Lamaq. Pours hazy dark gold light amber with a white head. Plenty of punchy resin flavours, but also a great bittersweet balance, full in the mouth, citrussy a little berry, good.

Newcastle jaunt. Keg at The Free Trade Inn. Pours golden with a light haze and a thin white head. Aromas of green plant stalks and resin. Taste is big green bitterness, tomato plants, resin. Some malt backbone there though. Bitter finish. Good.

Keg at the brewery tap, Bermondsey. Light yellow, hazy and flat. Hay, apricot, ammonia and some pine on the nose. Tastes bittersweet with massive astringency on the finish along with some meaty hops. Decent enough but there are some issues.

Draft at Billie’s Bier Kafetaria, Antwerp. Hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma of big citrus, tropical fruits, orange, grapefruit, peach, light caramel malt and resinous hops. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
