A classic kellerbier with a modern twist. Nice malty backbone with a subtle hoppy flavour in the background. More bitter than other keller beers.

0.33 l can from 'AleHub' (as a gift - many thanks!), canned in November 2019. Hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, rather fruity, slightly grassy and a little floral aroma of mango, peach, orange peel and hints of banana. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity, gently grassy, slightly floral and almost a little juicy taste of mango, orange peel, some peach and hints of banana, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently grassy and a little herbal-resiny finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty beer, nowhere near a Kellerbier though, maybe a New England Kellerbier (does everything have to be hazy and juicy?!).

330 ml can, Alehub present, thanks!! Pours hazy orange with a creamy white head. Grass, herbal aroma hops, fruity citrus notes, dough, grapefruit peel, some funk. Crisp dry hoppy bitterness, slightly sweet. Medium bodied, milky texture, lively carbonated, dry bitter finish. A very crafty and modern Kellerbier interpretation. I like!

33cl can from Naïv, Frankfurt am Main. Mild fruity aroma with malty notes. Moutfeel is slightly on the fizzy side. Fairly balanced and enjoyable in the end.

Hazy golden, white head. Fresh cereals and light flowery citrus hops. Similar rater - juicy light sweet pale Brady malts with too much modern hops. A nice lightly hopped beer but does not have the true kellerbier character.

Orange with a tall, foamy head. Aroma is floral and funky with a bit of tangerine underneath. Taste is all over the place—bittersweet with a hint of juicy tartness. Really kind of skeptical here at first but it’s growing on me. Finishes mildly bitter and tart. Medium body with mild carbonation. Creative. I think I like it. I think.

Cloudy pale amber colour, small fizzy off-side head, quickly disappearing. Aroma sweet malt, light nectarine and orange, touch of basement. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, fruity, grainy notes. Sweetbitter aftertaste, fruity notes, light to medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation. Bit unusual (postmodern) but nice kellerbier.
