On tap bocktown. Big & black it seems. Nice smooth attractive rosty smell. Some hints of alky but overall quite well behaved. Yes, a pretty civilized darker beer fer sure. Can like this. Not bad, with its unique leather feel. Slight co2 thru-out.

Draft. Pours dark brown. Nose/taste of toast, pine sap and sweet molasses with some smoky caramel - medium body.

Sampled on draft at the Pints for Pets brewfest this beer poured a dark caramel-brown color with a medium sized foamy tan head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was hickory smoke and bacon. The flavor was some sweet bread followed by smoke, bacon and a faint medicinal presence. There was a faint vague fruity hop element underneath. Medium length finish of bread, hickory and the medicinal notes. Medium body. Odd but decent.
