This beer doesn’t hold back. We start with as much Canadian barley as we can fit in our mash mixer, then add some toasty Munich malt and toffee-flavoured crystal malt for a rich, malty balance to the hop onslaught that follows. We cram our kettle with Centennial and Cascade hop varieties for refreshing clean bitterness and hop flavour, then dry hop in the fermenter for an aroma that will spank you right in the face. Party like its 1772!

On tap at Gahan House Nova Centre. Pours clear blonde with an off-white head. Biscuit malts and dry resin on the nose. Flavour has lots of bitter resins, crunchy sticks, dry biscuits. Not the most evocative hop expression, but at least it's bitter.

Draft pours clear amber with thin white head that resolves to lace. Dense mouthfeel with mild citrus flavors and satisfying bitter finish. Very nice IPA.

Old rating - A 500ml bottle brought back from my trip to Maritime Canada last year. Pours a bright amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, toffee, floral, spices & sweet malt. Well balanced. Good body. Medium bitter finish. Very well-made old-style IPA.

6/10/2023. Taster at Ulfborg courtesy of saxo. Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, straw, malt, flowers, citrus fruits. #medium sweetness, quite heavy bitterness. Medium body, oily, average carbonation. Bitter finish.

ABV: 6.5%. ✅ Light cloudy looking, a medium amber yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, floral. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, fruity malt, fruity, sweet fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20231006]
