330 ml Bottle. Pours with a hazy dark brown color and a muddy white head. The nose is smokey, malty some brown sugar, hints of wood and sweetness. Taste is very sweet and malty. Nice smoke and caramel. nice balance of malt and smoked. On my opinion, the smoke is fine as it is. I do not need more smoke.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Fresh malty with lots of smoke. The body is dry, malty with hints of caramel. The smoke is smooth, not too deep but fresh smoky dry. Nice.

(bottle, 33cl, 5.0% abv, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Dark brown colour with a rube shine and a beige and medium-sized foamy head. Slightly syrupy malty aroma with present notes of smoked malt, burnt wood and smoked meat, also with shades of caramel in the background. Mildly sweet and delicately bitter flavour, quite light bodied with a moderate carbonation. The taste is not as heavily smoked as the aroma: mildly smoke malt with slightly bready notes and the illusion of molasses, caramel; mildly sweet-bitter smoke-malty finish. Smooth and easy-going Rauchbier. 13.VII.16

Bottle at KØ16. Mild smokey aroma, hint of butter. Cloudy dark brown colour. Very small head. The flavour starts off quite malty, takes a while for the smoke to come out. Not very bitter.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is smoked and toasted malty. Smoked, meaty and caramelish malty. Toasted and smoked finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Vova. Clear deep amber-brown. Smoky aroma with malt, caramel, sausages. Sweet flavor, malty, caramelly, with smoked sausages. Medium-bodied.

0.33l bottle from kadewe, 1.98€. pours a cloudy dark chestnut with a steady off-white head and a nice lacing. aroma of smoke, rye bread, maple syrup, light bacon, dark fruits. flavour of wood, nuts, slight sweetness and tartness. strong carbonation.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy, dark amber with an off-white head. Some greasy Bamberg-style smoke in the nose. Medium body, low carbonation, a little caramellish base malts but then a solid if not exactly overpowering smoke note. Ends on the dry side. 200116
