Our Pils Beer is a Czech-Bavarian style lager with 12% extract. During production process that lasts 21 day we use the best domestic barley malt and imported belgian hops. The beer is soft with a memorable taste and aroma and an alcohol percentage that doesn’t go above 4.6%.

On tap at Prvi Novosadski festival. Pours dark brown with small beige head. Roasted malts, bread, some coffee. Sweet.

Draft at BT II and III. Dark brown color, small beige head. Nice aroma of cocoa powder. Taste is cocoa, light body. My favorite of the bunch.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and breadish. Light yeasty and dry malty. Burned plastic, roasted malty and breadish. Sweet and roasted finish.

18/08 Draught at the BBF 2011. As I was told, different that their dark beer normally offered in the brewpubs, now we couldn’t find it and it’s not listed anymore on brewer’s website, so it might be replaced by this stout? Anyway, its dark brown body had small head and smelled on caramel and coffee malt with inevitable herbal hops. Flavor was elegant coffee, sourish and dry, complemented a bit with caramel notes. Quite watery, thin bodied. Simple and shorter dry coffee and tobacco finish. A decent stout, unfortunately more body would help a lot to pronounce its fine malt. Thumbs up for the Black Turtle anyway!

Draught at BBF 2011. They had released this at the beginning of April (well, 31.3., but close enough) and since there was none at the outlets, we’d hoped that it’d be there on the festival and lo! It was. This poured an opaque very dark brown body with an off white head. Slightly papery nose, some oily maltiness, vague lemon and coffee that’s vague at first and then takes over as it warms. Nice, soft coffee taste, some light bacon/dried meat. Sweetish, not much hop. Not terrific but great for the Serbian standards. None of these "ales", the White Clover ones and the TBT ones are particularly aleish, if there was top fermentation going on, it didn’t left much trace, but some of them, especially these new TBT beers, are way above the local average anyway.
