Dark Reddish Brown, Medium Head Did Not Last, Decent Lacing. Faint Malt Aroma. Malt, Slightly Sweet, Stale Hops, Bitter Finish. Medium Body, Slightly Buttery, Creamy. No Dates, Probably Slightly Out Of Date. Still Drinkable but ... Might Want To try It Fresh, Otherwise Pass It...

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 6/12/2013. Pours slightly cloudy orange copper color with a 1 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of caramel, toast, toffee, grapefruit, orange zest, brown sugar, biscuit, floral, grass, light nuttiness, and toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of malt and hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of caramel, toast, toffee, biscuit, grapefruit, orange zest, brown sugar, floral, grass, light pine, light nuttiness, and floral/toasted earthiness. Light pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toast, toffee, brown sugar, citrus, biscuit, floral, and light nuttiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice balance and robustness of malt and hop flavors; with a very balanced hop/malt flavor profile and no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body with a lightly creamy and smooth mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice amber ale. Good balance and robustness of malt and hop flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Clear amber. Aroma of slightly stale hops, piney, "green" and a bit fruity. Flavor hasd a bit of sweetish malt, caramel and a bitter hoppy finish, a bit stale. Medium-bodied.

Brownish color. Smells a little hoppy. Yes, some hops in the flavor but less than I was expecting according to the smell. Some hops attempt to build during the session but never quite gets there. Yes, overall not a bad beer. Some spice in there. Some sizzle. Generally a laid back almost hoppy beer. Just enough hops to let you know its malt backed by a medium low hop kick. As the session nears the end I think I detect a very mild hint of tartness in there.

12 oz. bottle purchased @ Top Shelf Brews, Hampton, NH. Guess the color?? Yes, it is an amber /red with soapy white head. Some lace. Aroma is caramel and weak grassy hops. Palate is more malt-driven with the grass and a light fruit hop note as well. Nicely balanced. The only negative is the thin body. But overall you could knock back several in a session if you desired.

Bottle @ home. Clear, dark burnt orange appearance with a tan head. Rich fresh, piney, somewhat grapefruit hoppy, somewhat resiny, toasty caramel malty aroma. A touch fruity, big toasty caramel malty, piney, earthy hoppy flavor. The big hoppiness in the nose didn’t seem to come through as much in the flavor. Tasty nonetheless.
