Bottle. Golden color with a relatively small head especially for an IPA. Taste and aroma the usual citrusy that one gets in this type of beer.

Hazy pale amber colour, moderate frothy off-white head, diminishes gradually, ample adhesive lacing. Aroma malts, fruity, tangerine, dusty, some pine. Taste light medium bitter, light sweet, fruity, bit spicy, old hops. Light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, finish dry bitter, spicy notes, decent session IPA, pity it is fading away...

On tap at VCBW Festival, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is clean, with biscuity and light floral hops. Flavour is clean, with floral hops and just enough biscuity malt to back. Nothing special but very clean and well-balanced. Decent enough.

Bottle @ home. I fear the worst after reading the last rating (yes I mean you Borresteijn). Clear golden orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, wheat and nicely hoppy. So far so good. Taste malts, wheat, hops, lightly fruity, decently bitter. Best before date says August 2015 so not that fresh anymore and I do get a hint of butter in the distance, but it is still decent.

35cl Bottle from drankgigant.nl. Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of some citrusy hops, tropical fruits, quite sweet, caramel, honey, old cookies. After a second look the beer appears to be over 15 months old. It shows. Flavour of old cookies, caramel, honey, baked apple, some hops, light citrus, bitter finish. Light bodied. Past its prime.

Crisp slightly hazy golden and honey coloured body with a ridiculously large, seven centimetre tall soapy tan ugly head. Aroma of pungent floral, perfumey and grassy hops with little else - perhaps some lemons. Light-bodied; Sharp hop flavours dominate with a very grassy and perfumey kick that finishes strong and deep. Aftertaste shows a nice robust crispness from the hops, some mellow lemon and citrus flavour and a nice herbal and grassy freshness at the end. Overall, a very nice Light IPA with a nice crisp finish and a pleasant hoppiness. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Cary, North Carolina on 02-August-2014 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 25-March-2015.

I am apparently the first European to rate this, in any case it is my first beer from the state of Georgia. Labelled an ISA (so a ’session IPA’) brewed with wheat. Almost clear, yet very slightly hazy, orangey blonde colour under a thin but creamy, yellowish white head leaving some irregular lacing but in spite of the hops, not remaining very stable; adding the deposit creates a fully hazy orange blonde colour, with some darker dead yeast particles floating around (though it hasn’t passed its best before date yet). Very hoppy aroma with a big emphasis on the fruity sweetness of it; I get lots of mandarin and rosewater, freshly baked cookies coming straight out of the oven, butterscotch, ginger, wheat, sweet white grapes, papaja, strawberry, hints of biscuit, something ’animalistic’ (sourish sweat, cooked meat) and abbey cheese. Fruity, crisp onset, peach, some sour berries and mandarin, minerals, remarkably soft carbonation (which also explains the limited head retention), vaguely salty accent (blue cheese far away in the background) announcing, and leading to a gentle but spicy hop bitterness, developing in the finish over a ’bridge’ of thin but still supportive caramelly and somewhat bready malts with perhaps a faint suggestion of wheaty sourishness; ends in a floral, citrussy, slightly peppery hop bitterness, drying but not overpowering and leaving some starch-like yeastiness as well as a hint of toasted malts in the game. Perhaps a bit undercarbonated, the body is on the thin and somewhat ’watery’ side even for a beer of below average ABV, but this is compensated by a delightful, flowery and charming hop profile, as it should be in this particular style. Surely enjoyable especially if you’re a hophead like me, though perhaps not the best session IPA I had so far.

This brew is a hazy pale orange color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle picked up from NC over Labor Day weekend. Poured a clear amber color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was some light pine notes, some floral character to it as well. Light, grapefruit and pine, with some resin notes. Floral notes. Okay.
