Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 6.5
This red ale poured a hazy, deep orange/red colour with a creamy, light tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include cloves, must, malt, ripe fruit and a little ginger. First swig was ok, different than what I’m used to and may be a wee bit old. Flavours of spice, ripe fruit, malt and must. Finish is ripe fruit and must.
