Draft as Devil’s Backbone Azreal. Poured a hazy golden color with a tiny white head. Aroma was mellow fruit notes, with a touch of spice. Flavor was, well - a bit on the bland side, but the beer may have simply been too cold. Notes of candi sugar and spices began to came out.

On tap at the Virginia Beer Festival at Capital Ale House - Midlothian on 07/03/2009. Hazy golden body with a small white head. Fruity and spicy belgian aroma with some candi sugar. Very sweet spice and light fruity flavor. Medium light body with moderate carbonation.

Fresh growler from the brewery. Pours a hazy golden color with a one-finger white head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma is nutty and grainy with light citrus and other fruity notes. Taste is citrus, apple, pineapple, and lots of other fruit notes. Just a tad bit of bread and butterscotch. Medium bodied,
