Picked this up at a grocery store in Nellysford, just down the street from the cidery - we were going to hit up the place but missed it by about an hour. Poured a light, pale green-yellow color with almost no head to speak of. Aroma was some tart apple. Flavor was light apple flavors. A little dry, touch of sweetness in there too. Decent.

Clear golden coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall white head and zillions of bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of pale malt, apples, grapes and a hint of yeast - not great, but decent. Light-bodied; Nice crisp apple notes with a lot of sugars, some alcohol flavours and a good pale and fragrant apple and pear note to the flavour. Aftertaste shows a slightly herbal and grassy finish, but the apples (granny smith or gala) show some good qualities and a pleasant finishing sweetness. Overall, a nice cider that is made from local grapes and supports the local economy - sounds great to me. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trader Joe’s in Falls Church (Bailey’s Crossroads) on 17-November-2012 for US$1.67 sampled at home in Washington on 23-November-2012.

Weak apple nose, not very sweet, lightly tart. Pale yellow, sparkling. Fresh cut apple flavor, semi-sweet, lightly tart. Alcohol not noticeable, well carbonated, not fizzy. Mmmm, fresh.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. The packaging just looks dreadful. Pours a clear pale golden with a thin wisp of a head. Aroma of tart grainy apples with a bit of an earthy note. The taste is tart apples with some spiciness and very faint earthy and herbal stuff going on. Thin-medium bodied, high carbonation.
