Draught at a restaurant in Washington, DC. Pours hazy straw with small white head. Clear aroma of malt and grain, with notes of yeast and touches of fruit. Sourish, citric and hoppy flavour with notes of yeast and touches of fruit. Decent, but clearly non-Belgian.

Tap at City Hops. Fine cloudy pale yellow pour white head. Nose is herbal, citrus, and peppery. Tastes of yeast, herbal, oranges, honey, light banana, peppercorn, and straw. Zesty palate. Pretty good indeed

Draft at the source. Hazy to cloudy yellow color, medium white head. Aroma of earthy, almost dank, spiced citrus. Taste is earthy lemon bread, peppery, more spice. Well done.

10oz goblet at the brewery, pours a hazy, dark gold with some fluffy, white head. Nose is fairly standard for a wit, some grass, some straw, mild honey sweetness, some orange peel, a little coriander, a little lime, a little pepper. Flavor basically is the same, lightly sweet, lightly herbal (I guess that’s the brett?), some mild citrus, yeast, grassy. Clean finish.
