Keg @ Ye Olde Cider Bar, Newton Abbot. Pale gold appearance. Gently fruity sweet aroma. Expected a crisp fresh palate and lively fruitiness for a keg cider, but it falls a bit short, coming across somewhat syrupy sweet not massively fruity, watered down perhaps, with a mild carbonation. Ok.

Clear 500ml bottle: BBE May 2025, obtained from a local shop in Witheridge, Devon. Drank on 12th February 2024 at my fathers place. Bright, clean and clear golden body, no head. It is a crisp apple tasting drink and it's fine.

500ml bottle. Clear yellow gold colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of fleshy apple, oily barnyard funky. Taste is tart & tangy apple, fruity, fleshy, green apple, with some citric acidity and funky notes. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry tart finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from the Food Shop in Dartington. Appearance - golden yellow, with a very gentle bubble. Nose - tart apple, apple skin and a little wood. Taste - again tart apple, but becomes sweeter in the middle section. Again, some apple and wood. Palate - tangy from the start until the finish. Medium bodied. Overall - good cider.

Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Gathering Ulfborg 2016, Day 1. Clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of red apple, light funk and woody notes. Flavour is above moderate sweet. Light medium bodied with light carbonation. [19-08-2016]

[ As Winkleigh Sams Poundhouse Crisp Cider ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good to fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate apple, sweet apples, fruity apples, pear, yellow apples. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long to average duration, sweet apple, tannins, tart sweet apple, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. [20160819]
