Mad Season is a supergroup of newer hop varietals which have quickly risen through the ranks as some of our favorite newer varieties on the market today. Cashmere, Medusa, and Idaho #7 are woven together to create a hazy double IPA with strong tropical fruit flavors of guava and mango along with pine and fresh melon. Mad Season utilizes a malt bill designed to create depth and complexity while allowing the hops to stay in the spotlight. A sweet finish with a heavier body accentuated by ample usage of flaked oats is balanced nicely by a bitter hop bite at the back end.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: burnt orange hazy color with a quarter finger of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet guava/melon to pineapple and piney fresh hop scents with a great clean biscuity malt backbone
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet juicy tone towards a semi-bittersweet juicy combined quality; finishes guava/melon to pineapple-like and pretty juicy
Texture: light to medium bodied, good sessionability; good smoothness; nice low carb and very little hop bitterness assertiveness if any at all
Overall: what an extremely well done NEDIPA I would return to.
