Pale Ale with Simcoe® & Saphir.
Brewed in collaboration with our good friends at Woodshedding
The recipe features heritage Plumage Archer from Warminster & raw wheat from Gothelney Farm in Bridgwater, part of the South West Grain Network, to ground the beer in the land that inspires Woodshedding's approach.
Our hopping regime brings a vibrancy & freshness from the wider world of hop farming; it combines a crop of Simcoe, hand-selected from this year's harvest, with the spicier, floral notes of Saphir that hum with the budding promise of summer to come.

440ml can. Slightly hazy golden with a white head, great retention. Aroma of pale malts, light citrus and berry fruits, light grassy/floral/spicy hop notes. Taste is much the same, mandarin and grapefruit, mixed berries, grassy, herbal, floral, pale malts. Medium bodied. A lovely well balanced pale.

On tap at LHG Brewery St Phillips. Hazy gold colour lasting white head. Hazy pale ale. Some herby hop character. Served very cold. Some bitterness on the finish. More like a new England style. Some nettle herb hop ok.
