The most approachable of our ales, Brawler is malt forward and delicately hopped for a knockout flavor. Its smooth character, hints of caramel and toast, and remarkable drinkability define this ruby colored brew as a true session ale. Perfect for when you want to go a few rounds.

12 Oz can in Philadelphia airport on 8th March 2025. Waiting for a connection to Miami. Clean brown body with a ruby hue on top a thin beige crust of tight bubbles. Caramel like aroma and taste which obviously gave it a sweetness right away, this is a lot more malty than hoppy.

Good stuff. That, or I'm just tired to tell the difference.

Taster at City Works. Pours a clear, brown color, with a fair, foamy, off-white head. The aroma is pecans, bread dough, nutmeg, and band-aids. Sweet and sugary. Light, crisp, and a bit slick. Off flavors, but not too bad.

Catching up on ratings - scores were recorded at the time but not detailed notes. This was in Philly as a stopover from Bermuda to Dublin....quite the stopover.

12 oz. can from Total Wine, Union, NJ. Pours a crystal clear dark caramel color with a beige head and very good retention. Good lacing. Faint caramel and leather aroma. The flavor is a mix of dark malt and caramel malt. Lightly sweet with no bitterness. Crisp mouthfeel. Light body. Clean and easy drinking. Simple and repeatable. Good light beer.

Can, courtesy of mansquito. Pours brown. Nutty, fruity, bit yeasty, touch of liquorice. Medium body. If I got served this up in a pub back home, I’d have no complaints, but I wouldn’t be running back for more.
