Brewed with our friend Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal Ales, this project represents what we both hold sacred in artisanal beer production: quality, creativity, and patience.
We fermented this blonde saison with a blend of Brettanomyces strains and then aged it 20 months in special Maine blueberry wine barrels.

Bottle. Poured a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was notes of sweet malt, light fruits, yeast character. Flavor was funky light notes. Tasty.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Ariel. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Lovely funky aroma with barnyard, big fruitiness, a bit of sweaty notes, oak and vinous notes. Sourish and slightly sweetish flavor, very fruity, bretty, oaky, with a dry astringent finish. Medium-bodied. Great stuff.

Bottle at Torst. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of blueberry, oak, lemongrass, white wine and light funk. Medium body.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of Lukaduke. Pours a hazy orange appearance with an off white head. Super funk pineapple, mango, bubblegum, super juicy aroma. Very spritzy, mango, peach, apricot, pineapple, bretty/tart funky flavor. FUCK YEAH.
