Can drank at the hotel in NOLA - picked up at Stein’s. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Pleasant biscuity malts in the nose, some hay, ripening citrus. Light-medium sweet flavour with fairly rich and bready malt character, moderate grassy bitterness, lemon and orange rind. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more biscuit character, grassy and rindy bitterness, pale bread, straw. A nicely balanced and very drinkable lager.

On tap at Ole Saint. Pours a pale yellow gold with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is grass and grain. Medium mouth, grass, skunk, lemon zest, lingering bitterness, very good.

At Markey’s, New Orleans tap: The draft handle said it was this beer, so I will just assume that it was. In any case, it poured golden with a white head. Aroma is lightly grassy and fruity. Taste is bittersweet. Like everything else that I had on my first day in New Orleans, it was drinkable, but not so much memorable.

Draft at ChurchKey poured into a tasting snifter. Pours a clear straw yellow with a good finger or so of off-white head. Good lacing. Aromas mainly of wheat and citrus. Tasting notes of sweet malt, wheat, lemon citrus, light hops. Medium body with a bitter and dry finish. Medium carbonation, light crisp mouthfeel. Pretty nice intro to Great Raft.
