Aims to be a modern juicy pale ale, but never quite nails the ratios between bright hop notes and hearty malt padding. Instead, we get a sharp, almost tangy burst of tropical-citrus notes, followed by a modest vegetal undertone and a yeast-pine finish. Not terrible, but not a version of the style I’d seek out, what with Automatic and Zombie Dust readily available.

On tap at Red River, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral hops, some light chalk, and dusty biscuity malt. Flavour is dry, with dull floral hops, some earthiness, and biscuity malt. Clean and drinkable enough, just not that interesting hop-wise. Pleasant.

Can from Vin Carre transported by Liz. Pours translucent gold with a largeish creamy white head. Getting grapefruit in a light way for aroma. Med body or better (creamy carbonation). Tropical, juicy, but not very sweet. Flavor is bitter, and pretty much grapefruit - tho more zest than juice. Strong flavor. Tasty flavor. Excellent.
