Can: A clear yellow color that looks a little musty. Smells fine, mainly due to the absence of any real aroma. Just a light maltiness. Tastes a little malty with some grain, not nearly as skunky and sour as itβs βhigh gravityβ big brother... Even finished crisp and left a light aftertaste. I hate to say it, but its drinkable... if you had to. One of the better choices from the Malt Liquor Monday gathering.

Forty from the premiere source of forties in Charlottesville. Huzzah! Pours a very pale golden color with a thin head. Poor head retention and lacing. Looks bad even by malt liquor standards. Aroma is overwhelmingly grass and hay with faint sweet malts. Something almost like green bananas in there. Taste is that same unripe bananas with very faint husky grains and grass, and not much else.

Can. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of corn, alcohol, and a bit of malt. The flavor is very sweet with notes of corn syrup and a bit of metal, alcohol, and malt, leading to a dry, bitter, and metallic finish.

Overall Impression: Crappy 40 beer, good for drinking games where 40s are needed and cash is short

In a lovely 40oz screw top shared by MaltDawg. Very clear pale yellow body with a large frothy white head. Big corn aroma with some light grain. More corn flavor, light grain, fairly bland. Light body with moderately high carbonation.

Big Ass 24oz Can. Sour barley malt aroma - only a slight malt liquor fusel aroma. Medium yellow with a giant head that quickly disappears. Light sweet butter malt flavor and very light carbonation - must have all gone with the head. My liver is starting to ache - truly vile.

Malt Liquor is cheap, and what you expect from the price tag is exactly what you deserve if you buy this beverage. Aromas of gasoline and burnt corn, and a taste just about the same, worse the warmer it gets.

By any stretch of the imagination, this is a horrible beer. Fortuantely, this is really, really cheap (typically around 2 bucks for a 40) and goes not like rotten vegetables. It is better than the worst beers. But typically tastes like nothing more than sweet, cheap alcohol that gets consistently worse with every sip. It is better to drink this beer very fast, otherwise, the bottom can become unbearable.

Light amber color with bubbly white head. Smell was a grassy sweet malt. Taste was of a grainy malt.

I have just had this in forties. It gets warm too fast and tastes like malt and alcohol. No real discriminating character. Yes it is sweet tasting. Very full bodied, but no complexity. Only has a bit of a bite to it if you drink it slow and try to torture yourself.
