𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘰𝘶𝘴 – 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵. Seven years of brewing hazy IPAs and we continually look to improve how we do things. Tweaks in yeast expression, hop contact time, grist composition, water chemistry, layering order — the obsession is ongoing, and that's exactly how we like it. This NE-style DIPA is built around hops that have become tried-and-true in our hazy program — Citra, Strata, and Mosaic — with Mosaic Cryo and New Zealand-grown Superdelic threaded in to push the aroma somewhere past eleven. The result is classic orange Julius territory with a tropical lean: peach-pineapple, red berries, yellow mango. The hop world keeps expanding, and honestly, we couldn't be more excited about what that means for what's coming next.

16 oz can purchased at Alma Mader brewing in Kansas City, Missouri as part of the Alma Mader 7th Anniversary 6 pack. The pour is a cloudy yellow orange with a foamy one inch head that is lasting, eventually falls with a pretty sheet of white lace. The aroma is fresh orange fruit citrus, pineapple, tangerine, soft bitterness and a bit of cream. Big, bright nose. The taste is the citrus right away, with orange, pineapple, mango, edged with the soft peel bitterness, and moving towards the smooth cream malt backbone. The palate is medium bodied with an unfiltered mouthfeel, soft carbonation and a clean citrus bitter finish with just a hint of alcohol peaking through. Well constructed, nice beer.
