A bright, spicy Belgian-style wit. An effervescent, easy-drinking wheat beer, brewed with Belgian yeast, German hops, and a whisper of ginger from the Far East. This mustachio’d Belgian-style wit believes that good beer defies borders. The name Fu Manbrew was crowdsourced with some help from our friends at Scoutmob. They call the mustache a “Flavor Savor” for a reason.

On tap at Taco Mac Marietta. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet grains and bananas with backing notes of flora and clove. Flavor has banana and clove up front that are joined by sweet grains and flora.

Growler from Ale Yeah! Pours a slightly hazy gold with practically no head. The aroma is bitter grapefruit, cereals, cut grass, and faint earth. The flavor is citrus sweetness and very bitter (for a witbier). The palate is medium, hard, sticky, and flat. Overall, this is a strong, bitter and heavy witbier. Not bad, just unusual for the style. It is fairly complex, with lots of hops and citrus notes, and well balanced.
