Medici is an amalgamation of an India Pale Ale and an American Brown Ale. Nutty, toffee malt flavours and a caramel sweetness are balanced by a robust bitterness provided by Australian Galaxy and British Challenger hops. These provide a spicy, cedar aroma with a gentle citrus note. It has a finish of raisins, hints of liquorice and a dry herbal woody bitterness.

Bottle picked up from Thornbridge Taproom, Bakewell, Derbyshire consumed at Scott and Mandy's Dumbleton Worcs' Saturday 9th October 2021. Hazy dark brown with an off white head, chocolate, caramel and yet hoppy and bitter. Lovely flavours but the aroma (dried) fruit is also great. Nice softness in the mouth, this is a really nice beer.
