Inspired by the classic English draft staple, Ordway Bitter is an homage to the incredibly drinkable Extra Special Bitter in all its smooth and malty glory. As the name suggests, Ordway Bitter pairs sweet notes of caramel and toffee with a biscuit base and a pleasing bitter bite at the end to bring a lovely balance and drinkability to the beer.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: copper color with a finger and a quarter of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: herbal to earthy hops up front with a biscuity to bready smooth and light caramel toned quality coming out with a little bit of tea-like notes
Flavor: melds the prior noted aromas to a fine malty to earthy sweet character; finishes malty smooth
Texture: light to medium bodied; great sessionability; great smoothness with nothing distracting anywhere; good low carb level on this
Overall: nicely done English Bitter I would have again. Pass the fish n' chips!
