Wichtel appears to be branding the American brew pub model. This newer offering in Boblingen had just a limited on tap menu, but offered growlers to take home. Hefeweizen was cloudy and dark, not in dunkel territory, but cloudy and brown enough to question whether or not it was weizen. Head was foamy and creamy, flavor appropriate for style. Not stellar, but good enough to enjoy with their limited menu. Pushing the atmosphere and branding above the quality of beer...
