A perennial favorite at our Brewery Halloween party, this reddish amber ale is perfect for fall. Real pumpkin adds a full body and sweetness, while deep roasted malts lend a toasty finish to this subtly spiced brew.

Bottle. Pumpkin is just a different taste. It seems EVERYBODY is doing this flavor now of days. Brown in color with some copper tones. Yes, there is some pumpkin and spice aroma and taste. I kinda like it though. Probably will drink again.

Were I a fan of pumpkin ales, I might praise Sam's version for its restraint, for allowing a genuine toast-n-caramel maltiness to surface instead of simply caking the palate with a bucketload of pie spices. But I don't really like pumpkin ales, so, even though the more cloying, overpowering aspects of the style are forgone here in favor of subtlety, I still feel like I'm drinking nutmeg juice, so I'll just give this pint a slightly-above-average score and move on.

Deep autumn color. Malty nose with just a touch of spice. Very full body. But tastes isn’t that strong. Still nice malty brew

Pours a copper from a bottle, lots of heavy pumpkin spice, not really pumpkin-y, just spice, allspice, cinnamon and clove mainly. An okay dessert beer.
