Michelob Light

Reviewed from notes.
Sometimes an after hockey beer.
Most of the time when it was consumed in a glass, it was a pint glass.
Here goes.
The appearance was a decent looking super light yellow color with a super clear transparency about it. Carbonation was seen rising at a rapid pace. The white one finger foamy head rapidly dissipated into oblivion. There wasn’t any lacing.
The smell was, uh.....what was that....as many times as I’ve had this, honestly, there really wasn’t much, maybe some cooked corn if anything, but even that was barely there.
The taste was semi-sweet but that was about it.
The palate, well, it sat exceptionally light and showed a superb sessionability about it.
Overall, uh....its Michelob Light. Have you ever had it? Hmmm....okay, uh...cheers and I’ll leave it at that thinking I could fit that \"confused look\" emoticon in this to wonder why I felt the need to even say something about this.

Can from backlog. Pours pale yellow. White head. Nose and taste of corn, grains and metal. Watery body.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear pale yellow with a half finger of white head. Aroma of corn, grains and light skunk. Taste is light bitter. Corn and grain with a little skunk. Light bodied with a thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and not much of a finish. Overall, I’ve had worse. Seems to be your typical light beer.

Bottle. Very light yellow colour with a white head. Almost no aroma. If you are lucky you can notise some flavour.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold with a medium frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a faint honey malt. Medium mouthfeel with a skunky malt flavor and metallic finish. Not much going on with this one.

12 oz. bottle. Why this? And many to follow? Binny’s had a bunch of megabrew in a loose bottle bin for 50¢ each, so I can get a lot of these over with. And there were two Sam Boston Lagers for me at that price, too. So:
I got a bit of hop wafting to my nose after pouring this. Closer up, though, it’s still ind of skuny and oxidated. But it’s showing a decent gold color, thin megabrew layer of foam, and active bubbling. Taste is the usual tinny impression from a lite beer. But there’s a little malt body to it, some bittering. No corn adjunct sweetness, or rotten egg small. Despite these nice words, the skunky first impression weighs against it. Big gassy finish. Yet for an industrial lite beer, it could be a passable choice.

Bottle: Poured a golden color lager with a fizzy pure white head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of sweet malt with light corn notes is bland and not that enjoyable. Taste is also a bland mix between some sweet malt with light adjunct notes (I know the label states all-malt lager but I have a hard time believing this). Body is light with good carbonation. Bland lager and not something that need to be revisited.

24 ounce bottle. Pours a pale yellow with a large head. Fair head retention and lacing. Big corn and sweet malt notes in the aroma along with some grass and green apple. Taste is sweet grains, grass, corn. Thin bodied. Slightly acrid finish.
