Tap @ downtown Rock Bottom, Denver. Pours amber with a small white head. Aroma of malt, caramel. Taste is weak roasted malts, caramel and light floral hops. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation. Not bad, just boring. 140311

Tap at the DIA venue. Pours clear red with a beige head. Light caramel aroma. Flavor is red roast malt. Possibly a little touch of chocolate. Finishes just a bit malty.

The beer pours a clear amber color with a small lightly sticky head. Aroma is light bark and light caramel malts. Taste has a hint of bitterness with light sweet toffee and caramel, very easy drinking. cmoes off as an Amber/Irish Red mix, so ups and downs on that.

Bottle from Rock Bottom in Denver: Reddish amber color with a medium ivory white head that diminishes fairly fast. Thin patches of lacing. Malty aroma with a bit of dough. Medium body with a sweet malty character. Some caramel and honey flavors as well. The finish is mostly malt, with touches of hops here and there. After the first 2 Denver Rock Bottom bottles being drain pours an average one like this was welcome.
