Demanding beer for demanding beer drinkers -- that's our Pale Ale.
We craft this American pale ale with hearty amounts of pale and Munich malts, then balance it with lofty amounts of hops throughout. It's a finessed version of hop-head fun -- a black diamond beer without the bumps and dangerous curves.

Pour is a cloudy sick looking yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma is a decent amount of hops and malts. Flavor is a bit sweet but the hops make a presence. Finishes a bit on the bland side. In the end this is just average. Could they at least do something to change the look of the beer it really turns you off to have to drink something that looks like pee.

Draught at Breckenridge Brewery, Breckenridge, CO, October 2012, GABF week.Light brown. Citrus hops and light malt. Mild hop finish, but I did enjoy this more than I did when I tried it years ago. 12/12/2005. 5/4/6/2/12 OK aroma of herbal hops. It looks nice; dark gold and a decend sized white head. Aroma is of a light ipa. The hops need more intensity. What is there has light citrus and is fairly sour. Thin.

Slightly hazy light orange body, medium-thick off-white head. Light piney, floral hops aroma with notes of toast and caramel. Floral hops body with hints of pine, balanced by biscuity malts. Has a "hop tea" characteristic. Hints of diacetyl in the finish, but nothing too distracting. Average, but, hey, that’s not repulsive.

(draught) Yellow-gold. White firm head, lacy. Nose with pale malts, bit of full-grain cookies, ever so slight hops. Sweetish, very malty taste. Very tiny touch of roasted malt in the palate. Light to medium bodied. Neutral, ever so slight end-bitterness. Uninteresting, nothing fundamentally wrong.

Thick foamy head, dark gold, almost cloudy. Excellent heavy lacing. Crisp lemony hop aroma. Well-balanced, with nice sweet clean malt profile. Med hoppiness in flavor, with light bitterness. Very drinkable but on the whole unremarkable.

Not sure if anyone could top the rating before this one, so I will just agree with everything Indra said. This had a nice spicy aroma and had a consistently good aftertaste, although somewhat white-bread overall impression. There are more distinctive pale ales out there.

Well, I liked this one a lot...especially drinking on tap at the brewery
across from Coor's field I also liked the bottled version but it wasn't nearly as
flavourable.
Now, it is a moot point as they've changed the formula and call it a pale ale. Dropped on
my like-o-meter a heck of a lot. :^(.
