Old rating from 2002 - pint at brewery in San Jose. Pours deep hazy orange with a creamy head. Aromas & tastes of banana, cloves, bread & malt. Medium body. Mild bitter finish

Draught at DTW, 7/26/22. Deep copper-maize. Lightly hazy. White head is medium, shows moderate retention. Lots of clove but also a strong malt presence. Lots more spicy phenolics in there, not overpowering. Surprisingly malty with lots of classic clove, banana and a hint of nutmeg. Good attenuation. This is shockingly good.

Opaque amber color, thick head. Strong banana and clove aroma. Flavor is sweet wheat with a light bitterness and funky Hefeweizen aftertaste.

27/6/2018. Draught at the Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Las Vegas. Pours cloudy yellow gold with a small white head. Aroma of banana, clove, light bubble gum, lightly yeasty and wheaty. Medium sweetness and light bitterness with a hint of sour. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Draught at SJ airport. Nose is mostly clove but rather restrained. Slight fruity esters. Orange-ish gold and hazy with moderate white head. Fruity and slightly cardboard flavor - clean line issue at the airport? Not really any Hefe aspects here.

On tap at Gordon Biersch, Taipei. Hazy golden/yellow with a white head. Slightly sweet with banana, spices and some wheat. Light and fairly refreshing.

Draught at SJ airport. Aroma is cloudy wheat. Flavour is sweet banana, a little sticky. Yeast and wheat in the finish.
