Bottle from Firma Bier now Beer Republic, batch nr has become unreadable but I guess it is a couple of years old now, 75 cl (or what is left of it after some steady gushing). Cloudy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of funky bubblegum, slight apple cider and oak wood, and zesty citrus and tropical fruit (reminding me a bit of the Crooked stave witbier series). Slight sweet and tartish tropical fruit, funk, bubblegum. Quite dry, some bitterness in the finish as well. Good one.

Sample at a tasting. Tart fruit, spicy tartness and strong vanilla barrel notes which blend in well. Dry light fruity and tart taste, light grassy/chlorophyll hops. Very good.

Draught at Deep Ellum, 9/4/15.
Love how 13 people in Denmark rated one bottle...Let’s see, minus headspace/sediment/dregs, that’s about just over 1.5 ounces per person, assuming no other people drank from the bottle. "But you can definitely get a full impression from a beer after just 1.5 ounces!" Bullshit. You’re just justifying being a ratings whore, so just tell it like it is. It’s laughably ridiculous, but anyways, moving on....
Lovely golden body is hazy and topped by a small, white head that recedes fully.
Delicious brett in the nose is very aromatic and quite fruity with less of the band-aid/plastics notes and concentrating more on the easygoing citrus/limeskin and soft funk.
Very flavorful with a solid, malty body, yet not too sweet. Good acidity leading to a tart finish, with light vanilla, very light oak and a touch of acetic/lactic acid. More brett saison than than generic American Wild Ale, as there is actual malt and saccharomyces character here as well. Soft to oily texture, ample, tight carbonation and on alcohol or flaws. Still a bit big and brash (not obnoxiously so, or anything, just could use another 6 months or so).
