Sampler at the brew pub. Cloudy copper in the glass. Small head. Caramel and some butterscotch on the nose. Floral hoppy at the start, honey and caramel. Increasing hop bitterness. Long lasting bitterness in the aftertaste.

On tap at Bluegrass, pours a hazy copper golden with a small beige head. Aroma brings out metallic notes, piney hops and somewhat stale biscuity malt. Flavour is a bit stale, with metallic notes, stale biscuity malt and old hops. This just isn't good.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is floral and citrus. Medium body, pine, citrus, light bitter finish, good.

Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Nice aromas of floral hops, citrus and resin with some malt in there as well. Fairly well-balanced between caramel malt and bitter hops on the palate. Biscuity malt flavors appear is it comes to room temperature. Nice bitter finish.

Bottle. Very dark amber color, tan head. Aroma of floral pine, caramel biscuit. And someone wrote "morning breath" in my notebook, but it’s not my handwriting, so I won’t count it in the score. Taste is very bitter caramel.

Nonic pint draft at the Bluegrass tap room on East Main Street in Louisville, Kentucky. The pour is a clear golden copper with a one inch well formed white head. The aroma is a dusty floral with a bit of cracker malt. The taste is cracker malt forward followed by the dry floral bitter hops. A bit of dirt shows in the taste as it warms. The palate is medium to light bodied with soft carbonation and the dry softly bitter finish. Tasty enough Pale Ale.

Copper-brown with a pillowy, dark tan head. Aroma is malt, floral/cherry. Taste is slightly cherried...with a strong floral/herbal bitter. A bit rough.
