Bottle thanks to Jcwattsrugger. Pours cherry brown. Off white head. Nose and taste are your traditional hops, caramel malt and pine. Mouth feel is a little on the thinner side. Hops are slightly spicy. Piny finish. Predictable IPA. Sessionable.

On tap at TapWerks OKC. Pours an amber with a small frothy off white head that leaves good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a floral hop and citrus. Thin mouthfeel with a light hop and watery malt. A decent IPA from Marshall.

Waxed bomber courtesy of ericandersnavy. He just gave me this, thanks man! It pours deep copper with fluffy tan head. The aroma is full with spiciness, a touch of tartness, sharp grapefruit and some sweet malts in the background. The taste is pretty robust with sharp spiciness creating a modest tingling sensation as the carbonation bubbles up. That notes slowly gives way to citrus grapefruit hops. It seems like the yeast has thinned it out some midway and that sensation takes over the experience with bubbly effervescence.

Bottle from Texasbeerguy, aka ericandersnavy. Pours rather dark copper with a foamy, three-finger, off-white head. Hard to get aroma through the foam, but seems citrus/floral. Medium plus body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is rather darkish roast caramel, with a lot of freshish hop. Still going citrus on this. There is a lot of flavor. Finishes a bit malty, more like an ESB with extra hop. Great tasting ale.

Fancy blue wax-capped bottle with thanks to Matt. Pours a clear copper with a very large head. It doesn’t smell like much, in spite of the pretty pour. There is a bit of flowery soap and a little caramel, but the nose is definitely a weak point. Flavor is underpowered as well. Not near enough hops for this to qualify as an IPA in my book. Apple and caramel malt flavors mix with a spattering of floral notes and a bit of bittering hops, but this just falls far short for me.

Deep dark amber coloured body with a cola tint and a VERY strong and large tan head - too much carbonation in this one! Aroma of malt, yeast, nuts, flowers and a bit of hops - not much for an IPA! Very effervescent mouthful with malt and a bitter nut flavour up front with a slightly grassy and floral hop backbone, but really not much hops here either. Aftertaste has some sugars, but is left pretty bitter from the malt and hops - not horribly complex though. Overall, a decent IPA - too much carbonation, not enough hops and an under complex beer. Decent to try, since it’s the first time I’ve ever seen this brewery! I sampled this 65 cL wax-topped bottle purchased from Freeman’s Liquor in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma two days ago, sampled in the city itself on 06-May-2009.

Fancy looking wax-capped bomber thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a murky amber color with a fluffy, off-white head that has good retention. Aroma is floral hops, caramel and light fruity esters. Taste is nutty with a bit of floral hops. Light bubbles and water like mouthfeel.
