Bottle at Cotteridge Tasting, Saturday 24th January 2015 Pale gold with a slin white head, superb clarity. A bit of vanilla, very soft, very subtle, it is fine on the basis that the subtlety of flavours means there is little that can be considered offensive. A6 A5 T5 P2 Ov11 2.9

25cl bottle at the Tenth Shrewsbury Bottle Share, courtesy of Blackhaddock down there. I have to say I’d not even heard of Dominica before this beer. Slight sweetcorny hint to it. Euro-lagery feel. Not unenjoyable, although it was split between 5 of us. Maybe I’d think differently if I had a full bottle.

My father brought two 250ml bottles back with him from a cruise. One bottle I took to the December meeting of the Shrewsbury bottle share group and the other will be going to a bottle share in Birmingham (West Midlands) in Jan 2015. Anyway, this beer looks like almost every other lager/pilsner: clear, bright and light golden in colour, on top a quickly fading white head. Sweet and corn came to mind in both the aroma and taste. Might be fine on a lovely sunny afternoon on an exotic island but on a wet and cold evening in England it failed to excite. Green 250ml bottle BBD Apr 2015. Happy to get the country tick, but that is all.

Bottle shared by Travlr, 5/23/14. Pours a clear golden color. Aroma of sweet cereal grains, mild muted hops. The taste is pale malt, glue, grain, a mild bit of cardboard. Thin bodied. Not as terrible as I expected.

12oz bottle thanks to Travlr. Pours a clear gold with hardly any head and lots of apparent carbonation. Here we go... Nose has some cardboard, stale malt, white flour, a fair amount of skunk weed. Flavor follows suit, trashy, wet cardboard, white flour. Merciful watery finish.

Another beer that fits into the Epic sour tasting by the sour looks it produces. Has that skunky green bottle taste which I usually like. This one isn’t up to the high standards set by Heineken or Stella, however. Bottle thanks to Travlr.

Bottle courtesy of a very kind lady from the Dominica embassy, temporarily located in the Church of Scientology. A display beer that she sneaked to me while others were distracted. Thanks! Clear pale yellow color, fluffy white head. Aroma of straw, corn. Taste is watery lemon and light straw. Hmmm. Brings up the conundrum of whether to add the Church of Scientology as a place on RateBeer....

From a bottle shared at the DC Epic Sour Beer Tasting. Thanks travlr! Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Heaps of corn flavors and aromas. A bit below average for a Caribbean lager.

From the Dominica embassy. Poured a clear, sad looking corn malt notes, white head. Flavor was pale lager, corn and sad beer taste.
