Tungri Dubbel heeft een warme donkerbruine kleur (EBC 100), ruikt een beetje naar kruiden, is licht sprankelend en heeft een ivoorkleurige volle en romige schuimkraag. Beginnend met een zachte smaak, zal het bier laag na laag intenser worden. Tungri Dubbel is vrij helder maar iets troebeler als de gist bij het bier wordt gegoten of op de tap wordt geserveerd.

Bottle. Color: Ruby, beige head. Aroma: Dark malt, caramel, brown sugar. Taste: Dark malt, caramel notes, toast. Hints of brown sugar. Medium sweet, light to moderate bitter. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Malty finish. Ok but nothing special.

Draught @ Foeders, Ceintuurbaan 257H, Amsterdam, Netherlands 1074CZ. [ As Tungri Dubbel ].Light unclear medium red amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramelized malt, sweet malt, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramelized malt, caramel, sugary. Tap @Foeders, Amsterdam. Slightly unclear ruby brown colour, good frothy beige head, good retention and lacing. Aroma roasted malt, caramel, brown sugar. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, bit sugary, light herbal touch, solid dubbel.

On tap at De Natte, Alphen aan den Rijn, Netherlands, Saturday 23rd September 2017. Pours reddy brown with an off white head. Slight bitterness detected, served a little too cold perhaps. A bit watery, some caramel not getting much else, a bit drab. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov11 3.0
