Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of earthy hops, citrus and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 oz. bottle dated best by 8/11/16 into a pilsner glass. A: Dark, mostly clear gold color with a small quick head, busy bubbles and patchy lacing. S: Nice sweet orange/tangerine scent. A faint bit of caramel. T: Not sweet! Very crisp tart flavor of some cross between citrus and evergreen. Seems distinctive and tastes pretty good though even if it is a bit thin. M: Thin body even for 5.5%. Average carbonation with a sour/bitter finish. Slight resin. O: This is different in a good way. I like milder IPAs so the ABV is agreeable and the bitter/sour hop note seems distinctive if a little odd. I’d buy it again.

Rich clear copper coloured body with a three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of ridiculous amounts of fresh piney and tropical fruit hops with a kick of resin and sugars in the mix - very nice and definitely mouth watering. Light-ish-bodied; Strong hop flavours up front and a good kick of grapefruit, lemon, resin and pine in the mix with a smaller amount of malt than expected and a well balanced sweetness of tropical fruits on the finish. Aftertaste shows mainly hop characteristics with a very nice bittering quality and a robust finish with pine, resin and even some guava sugars on the end. Overall, a very nice Light IPA that borders on a real IPA (that’s the way it’s classified here) that is a real winner - a very easy drinking IPA with tons of flavour - definitely worth sampling if you can find it! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia on 21-January-2015 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington about a month later on 18-February-2015.

This was an OK IPA. Nose was citrus and pine, flavor similar, leaning more toward pine resins, spicy. Malts were light and dry, though a breadiness was there, enough to give it some backbone at the least. Drinkable enough. Golden, light hazy, huge head, meringue like, erect in the glass.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-tan body. Fluffy, steady white head. Kind of standard antiquated aroma. A decent enough IPA, some earthy APA characteristics as well. Pine, mild citrus, Its OK, but not cutting it for 2014.
