Our take on a Belgian-style Tripel is named after the schooner "Atlantic". This gorgeous vessel achieved 20 knots during her sea trials in 1903. Expect aromas of banana, light clove, and pear followed by flavors of apricot, spicy esters, and pear. This beer has a light sweetness but finishes dry with a touch of hop attitude.

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home - thanks to Ryan and Whole Foods - Tysons. Pours a pale copper with an off white head. Aroma of orange. Fairly sweet for a tripel, but with nice flavors of citrus, bread and some spice notes. Quite a nice effort.
