Burnside Stout is brewed with imported Simpson malts and East Kent Golding hops. Our Stout features bold notes of coffee and chocolate, with a dry roasty finish. Notice the beautiful thick brown head and deep opaque color. Pair it equally well with a main course of meat, or a dessert of chocolate.

On tap at Burnside. Pours a black colour with a small beige head. Roasted aroma of dark chocolate, coffee and is a little sweet. Roasted is also the flavour with coffee, dark chocolate and ash. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, medium body and a light bitterness. Roasted, balanced and easy drinking. Nice one.

On tap at Burnside, pours a deep dark mahogany / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light oats and soft cocoa. Flavour is clean, with oats and soft unsweetened cocoa. Pretty bland, but drinkable enough.

Nice Stout! On tap at the brewery. Pours a pure black color with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet cocoa, some milk and metallic roast. The flavor leans toward sweet lactose/milky coffee and toasted malts. Good. Nice palate.
