Burnside Stout is brewed with imported Simpson malts and East Kent Golding hops. Our Stout features bold notes of coffee and chocolate, with a dry roasty finish. Notice the beautiful thick brown head and deep opaque color. Pair it equally well with a main course of meat, or a dessert of chocolate.

Draft at the source. Very dark brown. Nice cocoa aroma. Sweet chocolate taste was nice after the Sweet Heat.

Draft at Burnside Brewing in Portland, OR on 29 May 2013. Poured a black colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt, coffee and caramel. Sweet toasty malt flavours with some coffee bitterness and chocolate. Mouth feel was medium. Maple syrup, espresso and prunes with more lagery malt sweetness on the palate.

Dark, almost opaque color, small off-white head. Toasted, coffeish aroma. Medium-bodied. Coffeish, toasted malty flavor. Smooth palate. Good drinkability. Very good light porter!

Draught. Delicious. Pours black with medium beige head. Light aroma, pleasant malty. Big body with lots of roasty malty notes. Lekker malt finish.
