22 oz. bottle, pours a hazy golden orange with a tiny white head. Nose is super dank, full of fresh dank juicy hops, grapefruit zest, and pine - wow - what aromatics these are. Flavour brings out loads of fresh grapefruit zest, uber fresh piney hops, and some sharp zesty biscuity malt providing just enough backing. Extremely fresh, dank, juicy, dry and zest - everything I love about an IPA right here. Exceedingly high drinkability, with no residual sweetness. The pinnacle of Breakside's brews, from what I've had.

Crisp golden coloured body with a dense, three centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of resinous, herbal and very grapefruity hops - nice and mouth-watering. Medium-bodied; Assertive grapefruit and herbal hop flavours throughout with an emphasis on resinous notes, a solid and pungent malt backbone and a very piney character at the end with hints of sugars - very nice and ridiculously well-balanced for a PNW IPA. Aftertaste is nice and enjoyable with more of a hop flavour than anything else (naturally) and a strong alcohol bite with a grassy and herbal flavour at the very end. Overall, one of the best IPAs I’ve had from Portland and one well worth getting over and over again - and I would, if I lived here! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased a few minutes ago at Whole Foods in Portland (Pearl), Oregon on 06-December-2013 for US$4.99 sampled in my hotel room here in Portland on 06-December-2013.

Bomber from Whole Foods. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A light sweet fruity nose, some biscuit and tangerine. Super clean flavor with oranges, big grapefruit, pretty hefty but not distracting bitterness, some light resinous sweetness. But not super sweet. A big balance with earthy biscuit malts, some marmalade. Very nice.
