Location: 12 oz can from State Line, 8/6/12

Aroma: The nose is clean crystal malts, dough, bread, citrus hops, and some grass
Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a thick, white head and some lace that dissipates quickly
Flavor: It tastes much the same, crystal and doughy malts with grass hops, it’s light sweet and bitter
Palate: The body is light, with a really nice crisp, clean feel to it, a nice drinkability, and a smooth, dry finish
Overall Impression: This is a nice Kolsch overall, with its crisp, clean feel, and a good drinkability. This one is a clear example of a beer being what it is trying to be.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a dark golden color with a small foamy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was semi-sweet creamed corn with hints of citrus and bread. The flavor was dryish, bready and a bit nutty with hints of citrus and dry floral hops. Medium finish. Light to medium body. Eh.

I’d like to try more of these off throdden Lancaster brews. From a can, quite interesting. Pours like a pale lager. Smell is sweet candy. Taste is surprizingly more bitter impact than expected. Sharp pointed hops resen almost poking holes in your tongue: Klatu Barada Nicto. Bitter strong refershing & crisp yet seems to be much higher ABV than what’s listed, I’d say closer to 6%. Lots of personality on the finish.

on tap at the brewpub, pours hazy yellow with a tall white head. Aroma is floral hops and lemon peel. Flavor is pale grains and citrus hops in the finish. Light and refreshing.

Served on draft at the Lancaster location. Pours a hazy pale gold color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of grassy hops and slightly acrid notes. The taste is grassy and bitter with green apple, scotch tape and a bitter chemical note. Thin-medium bodied. Foul beer.
