An easy-drinking wheat beer is light in color and body...perfect for the warmer weather. In crafting this fine ale, we add many pounds of real apricot fruit to create a "secondary fermentation." This creates a gentle wheat beer with just a hint of apricot flavor in the finish. A very drinkable, mildly fruity ale.

Upstate NY still rocking the 1990s beers I see. Cloudy tan with no head. The aroma and colour have an apricot bent, definitely syrup or essence. Fairly clean, and it doesn’t really go with the golden ale base, but it’s far from awful.

Tap @ brewery. Golden appearance with a cream colored head. A touch tart, unmalted wheat-like, citrusy, peach, apricot aroma. Well balanced, fairly fruity, apricot, peach, wheat malty flavor. Great brew.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours slightly hazy gold with a foamy white head. Mild apricot aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is a bit sharp - suggesting citrus or perhaps unripe fruit. Apricot is the flavor, but it’s not all heavy like the one from Pyramid. Finishes towards dry and tart.

Mild apricot and citrus taste. Kind of on the bland side. Very watery. Not much of the traditional wheat characteristics of coriander and orange peel that you’d expect. Rated 4/9/10

Pours deep gold into a shaker. Bright white head recedes to skim surface. Apricot aromas. Tangy apricot upfront turning crisp and wheaty in the lasting, dry fruit finish.

Location: On tap at Hop Devil Grill, 2/10/10

Aroma: Nose is sweet, some apricots, some wheat
Appearance: Hazy gold color with a white head
Flavor: Mostly sweet, apricots and wheat flavors
Palate: It has a pretty light body, and is a bit sticky
Overall Impression: Overall this wheat beer is alright. There is a bit of apricot flavor there, and it has some typical wheat beer components, but there isn't a whole lot else there.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of j12601. Thanks Jay! Pours a very slightly hazy peach color with a medium creamy head. Good head retention and decent lacing. Aroma of creamy apricots, citrus. Faintly bready. Taste is tart apricots and apples. Thin-medium bodied. Goes down smooth. It is what it is. Know that!

20th August 2008. Pale gold beer with a very slight haze. Low carbonation. Clean but watery beer with a tepid apricot flavour. Inoffensive but too watery and yet another in a long line of dissapointing fruit wheat beers. Somebody muct crack this style?

12oz bottle-pours a big off white head and hazy yellow color. Aroma is lemon, OK some apricot, bready. Taste – I want to say sour/tart fruit, but over taken by BAD. Yeast," metallic/spice hops. Taste is thin but mouth feel has some syrupy. Thanks jwc215 for picking this up. Will try to do this again. 091025 -rerate 2.8
