This amber colored pale ale was the first beer we brewed together, so it was only fitting to name it FIRST BITE. Generous additions of American hops, light body and a dry.finish give it plenty of flavor and aroma while still remaining highly drinkable. YOU GOT BITTEN

Bottle. Orange, caramel malt, and weedy hay aroma. Amber with large light tan head. Moderately sweet orange/mango, caramel malt, and moderately bitter hay/quinine flavor. Okay body and balance. Decent.

Bottle: Clear, copper-amber with a thick beige head. Earthy caramel malt aroma. Taste is toasty caramel malt, slightly nutty..... Starts out a bit watery, but after a bit of warming it starts coming around....Strongly malty....mild earthy bitterness. More along the lines of a hoppy amber...pretty good.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Superstar Beverage - Huntington, 9/30/14, Bottled 9/4/14

Aroma: The nose is fairly light, with some clean resiny hops, toasted bread, and a little caramel
Appearance: Pours a mostly clear copper-orange color with froth of beige head and heavy lacing
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet, bready, leading to a mid-plus bitter, clean, hoppy finish
Palate: The body is fairly light, smooth and rather drinkable, with a soft carbonation, and a dry finish
Overall Impression: This one mixes the resiny hops nice with the clean pale malts, not to mention that it is a heck of a good looking beer in the glass. At 5.5% I could drink a ton of this beer. This is another nice one from Spider Bite.

Bottle, provided by Travlr, thanks. Gushed. Woops. Poured a cloudy, amber color, large, foamy white head. Aroma was some earthy hop notes, touch of caramel notes. Some pepper in this one, earthy notes with light caramel.

Copper coloured body with a ridiculously large, eight centimetre tall soapy tan head - not very pleasant. Aroma of pale malt, light hops, earth, flowers and some yeast. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour with a bunch of floral and herbal notes and a lot of cardboardie malt with little else. Aftertaste shows some yeast and a biting floral note that shows decently. Overall, way too much carbonation in this one and the hop flavours were a bit overshadowed by the malt and there wasn’t enough complexity throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 13-July-2013 for US$2.00 sampled at home in Washington on 09-August-2013.

Pours a clear light amber - rather fizzy pour - moderately sustained head - nose is crisp/crackery and doughy/bready, with a fair amount of earthy, woody, lightly peppery hops in the mix - carbonation is full but frothy in the mouth - body is on the thin side - up front, the flavor has a light, brisk, mildly tea-like character - the middle and finish, however, are fairly dry and crackery - finish is moderately bitter - hop character is woody, lightly spicy - easy drinking but fairly flavorful - a good example of the style - not bad, Larry, not bad.
