From tap at the brewpub. Pours almost clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, slight roasted malty. Fruity, slight citrusy and peachy. Bitter and dry hoppy finish.

(11/10/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Philadelphia. Clear copper color. Aroma of floral hops, some toastiness and malt. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of caramel and some bitter hoppiness in the finish. Medium-bodied. Decent.

Sample at the Princeton location: This beer pours a clear orangish-amber color with a medium thin light beige head that has fair retention. Thin rings of lacing. The aroma is mostly malty with some bread and floral hops. Medium, smooth body with a nice sweet malty character. The sweetness is imbued with an earthiness and woodiness that prevents it from becoming one-dimensional. Caramel and hops are present as well. The finish is clean and toasty with a lingering malt. Rather than going the safe Killian’s route as many brewpubs do, this beer is both flavorful and drinkable.
