Tap from barcade. Poured gold, mild head, nice classic rauch aroma, pretty light mouthfeel/drinkable, some hops. Enjoyable.

Tap at Sugar Maple. Hazy orange-tan. Steady thin, soapy off-white head. Pleasant deep smoky aroma. Big in the flavor department, from a nice crisp hop tone to a steady smoky backdrop. The sterile feel of SIxpoint beers sort of detracts. OK.

Associated Supermarket, Bushwick, NY growler station ($9.69): Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is floral, smoky, with a hint of citrus. Taste is a combination of smoke and a moderate level of hops. The smokiness is done right, as it is neither too light or too heavy. This is somewhat sweet. "tis very drinkable and I jsut like smoke as a whole.

draft at Dash In (Feb 18, 2012) - This beer should probably be listed as a smoked beer style. Anyway, it pours a hazy, honey color and has a good smoky aroma. The flavor is really dominated by the smoke, almost German rauchbier like, with a sweet malt background and a little hops bitterness. It’s medium bodied and has a dry, lingering smoky finish.

An amber ale with a thin white head. In aroma, a nice biscuit malt with light floral hops, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice malt with floral peppery hops, quite nice. On tap at Fette Sau, Dec. 30 2011.

On tap at The Pony Bar, Manhattan, New York, NY. A golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus fruit, quite bitter and dry. Not quite my thing but OK.
