12 oz. bottle purchased at The Beer Store. Southampton, PA. Color is a brownish / amber. Mild carbonation. Aroma shows light maple and Brown sugar. Flavor has the pumpkin spice with lingering maple. Nutmeg spice lingers in the finish. The 10% is hidden and is the best element of this ale. Overall, as expected.

Bottle from Beer Heaven. Murky dark Amber, small beige ring of head. Sweet aroma, gourds, spices. Taste brings the maple forward, a bit more sweetness, recalling some nice baked squash, with marshmallows. Definitely fall themed, but stands up all year long.

Deep copper and super bronze coloured body with a decent two to three centimetre tall tan head at first that fades almost immediately to just a covering on top. Aroma of great spice, light brown sugars and caramel along with a heartier dose of squash and a finish of alcohol, bourbon and some light grain. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence; Strong sweet potato and squash flavours at first with a nice spice flavour of allspice and canella along with a heavy dose of pure maple syrup and a faint hit of caramel and dry oak near the end. Aftertaste shows some malts, a bit of earth, some caramel, light spices and ending with maple syrup and a very pleasant sweetness throughout without much alcohol at all and especially no harsh astringent flavours at all - very nicely aged and structured. Overall, a nice beer that shows some great flavours, a pleasant complexity, very smooth finishing notes and good balance throughout. I'm not sure how this would have tasted fresh, but give it some age and this turns out wonderful! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Wegman's in Alexandria, Virginia on 15-November-2015 for US$9,99/mixed six pack, sampled at home in Washington a bit more than two years later on 09-January-2018.

Bottle into a taster showing pale amber with very sparse white foam. The nose shows pronounced sweet rum, pumpkin, and sweet baking spices. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Baking spice forward with moderately intense notes of pumpkin.

Bottle. It pours a deep orange color with a soda pop-like fizzy head that disappears almost immediately. The aroma has some watered down maple syrup, hints of squash and spices. Mostly cinnamon. The flavor is a bit richer with strong caramel, toffee, cinnamon and ginger. Light syrup notes. The body is light considering the high ABV, and the alcohol is hot. Spices are pretty well in balance though. Needs more body and malt complexity.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy oppression color topped by a small creamy beige head. Faint toasted malt nose has a hint of cinnamon. Flavor is a amalgamation of roasted squash, cinnamon, maple syrup and herbal hops. Obvious alcohol upfront. Earthy, dark sugar comes through in middle. Bittersweet woody funk in finish. Rather unique flavors at play. Interesting and worth seeking out.
