750 c&c from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear copper with a 3 finger yellowish head that attempts ring lacing. Aromas of rye spice and pine. Med + body. Flavor seems to have a lot of rye and earthy hop. Strong flavors. Fairly bitter. Very nice. The rye and malt and ABV support a lot of hop very well. Getting significant hop burn. Excellent ale.

On draught at Yard House in Scottsdale. Clear mahogany color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Floral hops, malt and fruit in the nose. Medium to full body with flavors of spiced hops, roast malt and ripe fruit. The finish is moderately bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
