Reviewed from notes.
Can to snifter.
Appearance: woody red color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: spicy & floral portions of the rye with some floral and citrusy hop notes then a caramel/toffee malt backbone
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to spicy rye tone to a brisk malty quality; finishes semi-sweet through a blend of the rye and the malts
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper; some smoothness but also a little bit of rye tones nicking the tongue - just really light and nothing offensive and I somewhat expected the rye to do that
Overall: nice strong ale with the rye notes. This is definitely one of their beers I would welcome again.

Can 1 pint. Pours a cloudy amber with an off-white head. Sweet, caramellish aroma. Rich, malty body, caramel and booze. Not overly sweet or cloying, hops only come late. Decent but just not really all that convincing. 291116

Can sourced from Khioskh, Copenhagen - orange coloured pour with white head which slowly dissipates. Sweet malty and fruity, with notes of grapefruit and some citrus tangerine peel, sweet with notes of caramel, good hoppy backing, slightly boozy warming sweet finish. Enjoyed this.
